Featured Update: Last week the House voted 253-92 to send HB 1560, a health compact bill that proposes to eliminate all federal health care protections and programs in New Hampshire, to the House Commerce Committee for a second review. A committee hearing has not yet been scheduled. The House Constitutional Review and Statutory Recodification Committee previously recommended the legislation for passage. Featured Update: Last week the House Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee voted 10-6 to amend HB 1297 and send it on to the House with a recommendation of Ought to Pass as amended. HB 1297 would prohibit the state of NH from planning or creating a state health benefit Exchange. The House floor vote has not yet been scheduled.
